Mode coupling theory for sheared granular liquids [PDF]
Koshiro Suzuki, Hisao HayakawaSheared granular liquids are studied by the mode coupling theory. It is shown that, in contrast to thermostatted systems, current correlations play an essential role in the dynamics. The theory predicts that the plateau of the density time-correlator disappears for most situations, while it appears in the elastic limit.
