Advances in material growth methods have renewed the interest in localization of one-dimensional systems in the presence of scale-free long-range correlated disorder potentials. Despite efforts in the last few years to understand the full extent of long-range correlations and their effect on the Anderson transition, several issues remain unresolved. We show the validity of single parameter scaling for the dimensionless conductance and characterize the nature of localized states, for all disorder strengths and energies, in terms of critical and fractal exponents. We provide evidence for the applicability of the extended Harris criterion as the strength of the correlation is varied.
